Gregor Bienz

Partner

Gregor Bienz looks back on a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with ten years as a C-level decision-taker. Besides having served as CEO of a Swiss private bank, the main focus throughout his banking career was on investment and product management for private and institutional clients. The real estate asset class gained his attention early on and he was a pioneer in launching real-estate themed funds.

After leaving the Swiss Private Banking industry in 2012, top items came to his agenda which included climate change and frontier market expertise and he acted as project manager for the repositioning of a European grant giving organization for climate change, while at the same time incubating a bank in a frontier market. Climate change and urbanization had and still have a profound impact on real estate values. This led to the next natural progression, with Gregor becoming an investor in real estate specializing in urbanization and distressed situations.

Gregor holds an MBA from TRIUM from leading universities NYU, HEC and LSE, a Master of Advanced Studies in Corporate Finance and the Federal Swiss Banking Diploma. He also successfully passed the exams as Certified Financial Analyst and Asset Manager (CEFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Project Manager (PMI).
